Tainan Hosts Hot Dog Cup

The heat is on...

For the first-ever "Hot Dog Cup" in Tainan!

The southern city is hosting a super fun and totally adorable
competition...for dogs!

On April 12th and 13th, little dogs will have a chance to race, dress up, and
show off their best moves.

All the fun will happen at Hutoupei Scenic Area

Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-cher says the scenery (風景) is very beautiful...

And there's lots of space for pets to run around.

If you have a small pup under 9 kg, you can sign up and join the fun.

First, there's the Hot Dog Sprint Race.

Dogs will wear hot dog costumes (yes, like a real hot dog!) and run as fast
as they can.

The fastest pups will move on to the finals on April 13th.

Next, the Creative Costume Contest.

This is where doggos dress up in the silliest, cutest, or most amazing
outfits!

Judges will be looking for three things to pick winners...

Creativity, stage presence, and special tricks.

The fastest and best-dressed furry friends could win up to $10,000 NT!

And all dogs that join in the fun get some yummy dog food.

Their pet parents also get some goodies.

The mayor says it's a great place for dogs to run, play, and make new furry
friends!

So, bring your pup, have fun, and may the best hot dog win!

Egyptian Weightlifter Pulls Train with Teeth

When we say someone does the "heavy lifting"...

That means they are doing hard, tiring work.

And today, we've got someone who knows all about that!

How heavy?

How about as heavy as a train?

An Egyptian man named Ashraf Mahrous just pulled a whole train...with his
TEETH!

That's right, Ashraf is super strong.

In fact, he just broke three Guinness World Records with his amazing strength.

He did this in Cairo, along some train tracks

Many people watched (觀看).

Ashraf bit down on a rope tie to a train.

And he PULLED!

That train is almost 280 tons (公噸).

That's heavier than 40 elephants!

Ashraf pulled the train almost 10 meters using his teeth!

That earned him the world record for "Heaviest Rail Pull Using Teeth".

But he wasn't done yet.

Next, he pulled the train with the rope around his shoulders.

That got him the world records for "heaviest locomotive pull", and "Fastest
100-meter Road Vehicle Pull".

These aren't Ashraf's first world records.

He was already famous for cracking and eating 11 raw eggs in 30 seconds.

And he also pulled a 15,730 kilogram truck with his teeth.

Ashraf's trainer (教練) says he practiced for 20 days before pulling the
train.

Would YOU ever try pulling a train?

Maybe start with toy trains first!
