Meet a Giant Dinosaur in Taipei!

Dinosaurs are some of the most fascinating creatures in history

These giant reptiles (爬蟲類) ruled the Earth millions of years ago, coming
in all shapes and sizes.

Some were small and fast, while others were huge and powerful.

Even though they went extinct (滅絕) long ago, their fossils (化石) help us
learn about the past and imagine what life was like back then.

A giant dinosaur skeleton (骨架), the Patagotitan mayorum (巴塔哥巨龍), is
arriving in Taiwan!

The exhibition (展覽) opens tomorrow at the National Taiwan Science Education
Center on December 19.

The Patagotitan mayorum is one of the largest animals to ever walk the Earth.

This dinosaur lived in Argentina (阿根廷) 100 million years ago and weighed
around 57,000 kilograms-like eight T-Rexes!

It ate over 129 kilograms of plants every day.

The skeleton is 37 meters long, about the size of an airplane's wingspan

Visitors will be able to walk under the massive (巨大的) bones for a unique

The exhibition also features moving dinosaur models, like a Barosaurus
(巴洛龍) you can "feed" and a T-Rex that "hunts" you.

Guests will learn how Patagotitans grew from grapefruit-sized eggs, surviving
volcanoes and predators to become giants.

Visitors can even try activities to help young dinosaurs escape danger or
compare their weight to the Patagotitan.

This event is not just fun, but also a reminder to protect today's animals.

Humans are harming Earth's biodiversity (生物多樣性), but we can all help
make a difference.

The museum made big changes, like removing part of its ceiling (天花板), to
prepare for the exhibit.

Don't miss it-starting tomorrow!

Milan Tops the World's Most Expensive Shopping Streets

Luxury shopping (奢侈購物) is all about the best brands, beautiful stores,
and special products.

These high-end (高端) shops attract people from all over the world.

But where can you find the most expensive shopping street?

Milan's Via Monte Napoleone (米蘭的蒙特拿破崙街) is now the most expensive
shopping street in the world.

It has passed New York's famous Fifth Avenue (超過紐約著名的第五大道) to take
first place.

Rents (租金) on Via Monte Napoleone rose 11% last year to $2,047 US dollars
per square foot (達到每平方英尺 2,047 美元).

Fifth Avenue rents stayed at $2,000 US dollars per square foot for the second
year.

This street in Milan is short but full of luxury stores like Gucci, Chanel,
Herm?s, and Cartier.

The high demand (高需求) and limited space (有限的空間) make rents very
expensive.

Experts say prices could go even higher.

Other top streets include London's New Bond Street (倫敦的新龐德街) in third
place and Paris' Champs ?lys?es (巴黎的香榭麗舍大道) in fifth.

Tokyo's Ginza (東京的銀座) and Seoul's Myeongdong (首爾的明洞) are also on
the list.

Milan is a fashion and design center.

The city hosts big events like Fashion Week (時裝週) and Design Week
(設計週), attracting many wealthy people.

Luxury brands are investing (投資) in these streets to create unique shopping
experiences.

With such high demand, these streets will likely stay very expensive.

Tasty Tidbit

Hey, did you know that the water we drink today is the same water that
dinosaurs drank millions of years ago?
Water on Earth has been here for nearly 5 billion years, constantly moving
through the water cycle.
This means that when you take a sip of water, it could contain molecules that
a dinosaur once drank.
It's amazing to think that the same water has been sustaining life on Earth
for so long!
